Candy Cane Martini!
- Dip the rim of the glass in red and green sugar for a sweet and colorful rim.
- Mix the vodka, white chocolate liqueur, and peppermint Schnapps with ice in a shaker. Shake well then add half-and-half and strain into the chilled martini glass.
- Garnish with a small candy cane for a classy Christmas cocktail.
This Weekend
So I know I havent posted in a while, but to sum it up the past few holiday days have been craaazy with party after party after party lol. So last night was the first night in about a week where I actually didn't drink and took it easy and actually slept for once. The Christmas CDs and Midget were a hit down at the Christmas Party at the restaurant (which was good since I spent 2 solid days making all 100 of those damn CDs haha). Friday was our annual Christmas Party here at Capwest, so the office went out to lunch where we started drinking starting at about noon, followed by more drinking at the bowling alley lol. From there I had to go coach my girls in seal beach (which wasn't too great seeing as how I was already hammered lol), and once I got back me and Jess went to Randi's Cocktail party that she throws every year which was a blast. Got dressed up and drank even more lol, I should have pictures of this soon. Then Saturday we hosted a christmas party at our house where we had a bunch of the close friends over, cooked up a ham and had a really good potluck, followed by more drinking and a couple games of pictionary and apples 2 apples. Sunday woke up hungover, watched my Pats destroy the Cardinals in Football, then ran a couple errands and headed down to my cousins where the drinking began again. Pretty much a drunk blur all weekend, but nonetheless the madness is going to continue tonight!
Happy Holidays to everyone!! May all your drinks be merry!

Have you been to Hell? I have.. it's called Monterey Park
So this past Sunday I went with the family to go see my sister perform in a Christmas Concert out in Alhambra. Extremely tired, cold, but not too hungover we made the trip at about 11:00 in the morning. As soon as we got there at around 12:00, we finally got set up quickly in about 30 minutes, and my sister and dad began to do run throughs and warmups so Jess and I were sitting there bored out of our minds. She was hungry since she didn't have breakfast, and I was in the mood for fast food so I took my Dads car and we left to go find some sort of Fast Food joint.
After we traveled for a few minutes we ended up in Monterey Park, we quickly found a Bank of America (which we needed to stop by for my mom) and we began our quest to find food.
I don't know if anyone else has ever been to Monterey Park, but there is literally NO fast food joints anywhere. Every block has about 2-3 Chinese Food sit down places, but there was not ONE single chain fast food joint within a 6 mile radius. The closest things we even found to fast food was a Donut Shop, and an amazing brilliant combination of a Donut/Hamburger Stand (I thought asians were supposed to be smart??). Keep in mind while 6 miles doesn't sound like that large of a radius, 99% of monterey park is made up of the asian community. That meant it took us 1 hour to travel around the town, due to the most irritating thing in the world ASIAN DRIVERS. SERIOUSLY, how hard is it to drive over 25 miles per hour! At one point there was one car in front of me, who was no where near a stop light, no where near another car, was only going about 25 miles per hour, and started to brake... no she was not turning, not switching lanes, not looking for anything, she just decided to brake to be safe....
It took me almost an hour to get out of that hellhole and finally head over in the opposite direction from where we had left to Alhambra where we finally found a McDonalds...

Mystery Shot
So last Friday after coaching my girls in Seal Beach, I went and met up with Bret, Drew, David, Derek, Brandon, Brianna, and Kiana for drinks at the block at a brewery/bar called Alcatraz. After starting off the night with a few beers and a shot of tequila (don't judge me, it was Drew's idea), the bartender started making us some interesting shots, and I missed the name of one of them. It was a green creamy looking shot, and the bartender put a floater of Hennessey on the top. I know I was already drunk, so I can't give you an exact description of the flavor, but it was definitely good, and it's been bugging me since I have no idea what it was called. If anyone has annnny idea please let me know!
Drink of the Week: A Pee in the Butt
a creation made by us down at Ante's for Big Wednesday
ingredients: Half a cup of coke or diet coke (your preference), and one shot of Tuaca
instructions: Dump the shot of Tuaca into your cup of coke, and chug (similar to a jager bomb)
Tastes like vanilla coke and gets the people going not to mention its provocative
